An original movie poster is a gift that feels personal: it's the film they love, and it's a genuine piece of movie history that once hung in a theater. Here are our ideas for everyone on your list, from Christmas classics to vintage finds.

Christmas classics
Nothing says the holidays like a poster from a film the family watches every December. Look for The Grinch, The Polar Express, Home Alone, A Christmas Carol, Arthur Christmas and The Nightmare Before Christmas. For grown-up humor, there's Four Christmases, Bad Santa 2 and Last Christmas.

For kids and families
A bright one sheet from a favorite animated film makes a bedroom or playroom feel special. Pixar and Disney posters are always popular, including Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., Inside Out, Lilo & Stitch and Zootopia. Minion fans can pick from Despicable Me and Minions posters.

For the horror fan
Horror fans love a poster that makes guests stop and stare. Try Krampus or Black Christmas for a holiday twist, or classics and modern favorites like Psycho, The Thing, Halloween, Pet Sematary, Carrie and the Saw films.
For the action and sci-fi fan
Big franchises make easy wins: Star Wars, Marvel, Batman, Star Trek, Jurassic Park, Fast & Furious and Transformers. Many films have several versions, such as an advance and a final design, so you can pick the artwork they'll like best.
For the serious collector
Collectors appreciate something harder to find. Our vintage posters go back to the 1940s, and posters marked Rare include hard-to-find versions like international and IMAX one sheets. Reissue posters of classics are a great way to own a theater-used poster for an older film; our guide to reissues and re-releases explains how they work.
Gifts under $25
Most of our original one sheets cost less than $25, and mini posters are even less. Sort any page by price, lowest first to find stocking stuffers.
Gift tips
- Not sure what they like? Pick a film they quote all the time, or a star they love. Every poster page links to more posters with the same lead actor.
- Framing: a standard one sheet measures 27 x 40 inches, a common ready-made frame size. Our guide to movie poster sizes covers the other formats.
- Double-sided posters look amazing in a light box frame, since the reverse image on the back makes the colors glow.
- Several gifts? Shipping is $13 for the first poster and only $3 for each extra one, so ordering together saves money.
- Returns are easy: 30 days, and we pay the return postage. Return details.
